Privacy policy
Last updated: June 2026
This policy explains what we collect and why. We've kept it short and honest because the site itself is simple.
What we collect
Email address (only if you give it)
If you subscribe to The Abroad Stack, we store the email address you enter, the country your request came from, and which page you signed up on. We use it to send you the newsletter — a monthly check of US services that work overseas — and nothing else. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time.
Anonymous analytics
We use Google Tag Manager and analytics to understand which checks are useful and whether people find what they came for. This includes standard data like pages viewed, approximate country (from your IP), device type, and clicks on outbound links. It is not tied to your name.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your email or personal data.
- We don't require an account to read anything on the site.
- We don't show pop-ups that trap you.
Affiliate links and third parties
When you click an outbound “Go to” link, you leave our site and the destination's own privacy policy applies. Those links may include an affiliate tracking code so the network can attribute a referral — see our affiliate disclosure. Subscriber data is stored with our infrastructure providers (Supabase, and an email provider if configured), who process it on our behalf.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, which removes you from the list. To request deletion of your stored data, contact us and we'll remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
